Rock Wool | Isotherm
Also known as “Isotherm,” this type of rock wool does not have a specific shape or form. As the name suggests, it is sold loose and packaged in various sizes and weights.
Isotherm is produced by melting basalt rock along with coke at a temperature of 2000°C and then spun in a centrifuge machine without any additional processing.
This insulation type is used in areas where a specific geometric shape is not required or in hard-to-reach places. In renovation and refurbishment projects, raw rock wool can play an effective role.
Transporting and installing this type of rock wool is much easier and more cost-effective compared to other types.
